Hotel X Toronto

Great modern style hotel. The room butlers were especially nice. I travel a lot and this is in my top 5!

Beautiful facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, and unbelievable view from our room. Will definitely stay here again when my wife and I are spending a night in the city.

Hotel X is a beautiful hotel with stunning water views. It is not very well-known yet and taxi drivers aren't sure where it is, but it is worth the trouble to find it. My room was very nice, the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on, and my view was amazing. The gym is huge and I loved the indoor/outdoor pool. The Falcon Skybar is not to be missed for both its incredible views of the city and its great cocktails. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. While this hotel is a little out of the way, it is a great place to stay when visiting Toronto.

This hotel is located quite far from the centre of Toronto and offers a rather strange portmanteau experience. The service at check-in is exceptionally impeccable and genuinely impresses and sets one up with the belief that this is a thoroughly luxurious 5-star establishment. On the other hand, the bar liquor selection leaves much to be desired and is top shelf in name only. Similarly, my stay package included a complimentary breakfast, which is something that is frequently spotty. In this instance, the complimentary breakfast was actually referring to a buffet and attempting to order a la carte in a timely fashion proved to be impossible. I ended up walking out without ever being served.

Therefore, that’s the experience in a nutshell. Surprisingly good amenities and check-in service for the price-point and then surprisingly disappointing in other areas. The nasty little surprises do add up. Overall, the hotel is hard to recommend when alternatives that are far more centrally located and that are significantly more experienced in terms of service exist like The Hazelton or the Four Seasons.

Very nice hotel with exceptional service. It has modern decor and very spacious rooms. A lot of amenities in the hotel, including the Falcon Skybar with a great view of Downtown Toronto.
