Michael Chattaway impressed me with his responsiveness, patience as we had him amend the Fire Safety Plan multiple times and provided a very professional finished product for us to supply to the City and Fire department. He went beyond our expectations, are grateful for his service and would highly recommend him.
Trevor and the team at Pacific are extremely knowledgeable, professional and have made a huge difference for local charities in the community by supporting HeroWork at several projects. Most recently (2021) with the renovation of the Salvation Army ARC. I look forward to the opportunity to work with them again at a future HeroWork project.
Pacific Coast Fire Equipment was selected several years ago to take over the annual certification of the emergency alarm systems at Salt Spring Inn, replacing an unreliable competitor.
They have provided those services reliably every year and have provided us with helpful advice every time the system trouble occurred.
Last week, our complete control panel failed and their technician, Allen, attended by phone to walk us through temporary measures to silence the bels and to assess that the failure was serious enough to require a replacement panel.
The work was arranged same day and the crew arrived early the next morning with work completed early the following morning.
The entire process and professionalism of all involved was definitely "5 - Star", and was completed without disruption of our operations.

Trevor was very responsive and helpful right off the bat. We built our suppression system using some used parts and he was willing to make use of what we had that was in good working order. I wouldn't hesitate to hire this company in the future.
Great company very thorough with their inspection of my boat's CO2 system and the 12 year hydro-testing of 3 -75# cylinders. Trevor was very accommodating working around our schedule, moving 200+ lbs. cylinders off and on the boat without damaging boat finishes inside and out. He pointed out the need to replace several hoses that several other service companies should have had me replace going back 20 years or more due to possible age related failures as they were past their legal service life. Highly recommend this company.
