  The Butchart Gardens is a must visit for anyone and everyone visiting Victoria British Columbia. The gardens are one of the most beautiful in all of Canada. Visiting in early summer will ensure you get the best experience. From the superbly maintained grounds to the unlimited colors you will enjoy your entire time. It is nearly impossible not to capture a picture that you wont want to print and frame.

  Even lovely in the winter! We enjoyed almost no crowds and a focus on the form of the gardens, textures, and water features. They also had a wonderful historical exhibit with a very knowledgeable historian in several rooms of the Butchart family house (typically part of the formal dining area most times if the year), and the spring/summer cafeteria was transformed into an indoor warm greenhouse and garden.

  We went during winter to have tea. It was wonderful! They have a tier of savory hot dishes (the only place that offers this), a tier of unique finger sandwiches, and a tier of beautiful desserts. The flavour are robust and carefully thought out and they have a few items with salmon which are decadent. I did a lot of research before choosing The Butchart Gardens for tea as high tea was on our bucket list of things to do and I must say they did not disappoint. I even had sales people at stores in town highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

  Thought this place was amazing. Even though a huge snow hit this place the week prior. They did a lot to move snow out of the walkways. Still a very beautiful place. Would live to come back late spring for the full effect. Did see the indoor flowers that had several orchids, daffodils and many other beautiful flowers.
  We had High Tea that was delicious and fancy!! Great friendly service. Cant say enough about the whole experience.

  A wonderful place to spend with friends and family.
  The staff are very helpful and the gardens are wonderful year round.
  The Christmas light display is excellent, and we enjoyed the Christmas Dinner this past Christmas Day with the family.
  A very attentive staff and some very nice food.
  Price is what you would expect for such a high level of service, the location and the holiday.
  If you want to attend Christmas 2019, you will have to book as soon as they start taking bookings.
  We booked on the day they started booking (November 1st if I recall correctly) and it was sold out very quickly.
