The campground is well described by its name: a few tent sites in a farm garden (no RVs) and owners offer home-made breakfasts every morning. Very calm and familial atmosphere, which we very much enjoyed. Unfortunately the facilities are very basic: one chemical toilet, warm shower in a tent, no-tap washbasin with a water pitcher.

We had such a great stay here, Scott and his wife were wonderful hosts. We had the breakfast of eggs, toast and bacon for $6 which was great bang for buck. Highly recommend this place if you are a family or anyone looking for a quiet quaint camping location. We will be back for sure.

A complete gem, walking distance to the bay and Butchart Gardens and short drive to Victoria or from the ferry in Sidney. Get the breakfast, what a treat to have waffles and ham and eggs from the farm with homemade jam and bread. Such a treat! The owners are themselves big campers and are very hospitable and knowledgeable hosts, they want to make your stay easy. They helped us plan our visit complete with scenic drives and places to visit throughout British Columbia. Gardenside Acres is a lovely and special place to stay.

Scott and Janet are amazing hosts. Their accommodations are clean and quiet. Very knowledgable of the area attractions. Their breakfasts are fantastic with fresh, farm eggs, homemade jams and fruit sauces to top your homemade bread or fluffy waffles. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. This was our second time and we look forward to next time.

This has been my favorite campsite I’ve ever been to. The owner Scott and his wife will treat you like royalty! His advice helped make our stay in Victoria absolutely incredible. His wife makes everything homemade and she makes with out a doubt the best breakfast you’ll ever have in your life. They are just good people and I 10/10 would recommend.
