It's a nice beach, it is made mostly of rocks, sand, and seaweed. The water wasn't very clear as the waves stir up the water. There was a decent current when I was there, though the water was too cold to enjoy swimming in so then the current isn't an issue. Its a perfect place for a picnic on a sunny day, or a campfire. Parking is free, and there is one path down to the beach that is "public".

Parking lot is located on the West side of the street in front of The Willows Inn Restaurant.
Great place to go and relax for a while as it is quiet and peaceful. The areas to the North and South of this small strip of beach are private beach areas which means you cannot go far. We went during low tide so we had much more beach area to play with.

This is not actually a dog park at all. This is a county park with NO SERVICES OR ACCESS TO TOILETS (no garbage cans for dog poop either). There are only two county approved parking spots, so access is very limited and everywhere else nearby is private property including all other beach access. Not ideal for a day trip since again there are no services but the view is amazing.
