  fresh, locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. anchovy spread with the homemade bread is super addicting, scallops were incredible although perhaps $36 for the picture shown is a tad pricy. however, I do understand the cost of top of the line ingredients and understand what it takes to run a business. nonetheless, quite a lovely atmosphere, nice libations, and the desserts were stellar! 10/10 would recommend

  Found parking right out front of this special restaurant on the way to Roche Harbor. Reservations are at definite must. Ours were made 30 days in advance. Recently updated buy new owners the menus still provides unique combinations of flavors. The octopus for an appetizer was delicious. The salad with spring greens was really not that great. Had to look for the pieces of blue cheese and almonds. My duck breast was done perfectly and the collard greens were sweet married nicely with each bite of duck. The berry cobbler was as big as a pie but the biscuit cobbler part was very dry. The service tonight was extremely slow as compared to other visits in the past. The server we had for our table of six came back to our table and repeated each order back to us. No explanation was given. Duck Soup is a great place to have a good meal at a reasonable price.

  As the son of the chef who owned Duck Soup for 20 years, I can say The Soup is reclaiming it's former glory, and then some. Many of the original duck soup family are back in the kitchen and on the floor and their mission is to bring you the very best dining experience you have ever had. This is food made with love.
  
  I do think they should bring back the Ross paintings though. Gives your eyes something to feast on, too.

  Our 1st ever visit to this unique, locally provided menu was great! From immediate appearance of home made sourdough bread(a thumbs up from this traveler) & anchovy butter to very attentive wait staff. Unique appetizers to seasonal & locally sourced entrees. We will come back next time we're on the island.

  Great meal for everyone in my family-seafood for my husband, vegetarian options for me, and were very sweet with my two young kids-one had a smaller serving of fish with rice and the other had buttered noodles plus an ice cream sundae to finish off the night. Awesome cocktails too!
