Have been here 3 times before in the past. Just enough primitive with a blend of modern to keep it comfortable. Plan to cook vs use a microwave. Plan on games and friends/family time vs. TV time. Canoeing is stunning here. Can't wait to return!

Minus: No Microwave, shower is very very very slow, BBQ Grill very dirty, and not much to do besides fishing, canoe and light up your fire woods.

Plus: Incredible view and beautiful river. This place is really nice if you want to be away from city life, and relax your mind. The caretaker guy (Gilbert) is very nice and helpful.

Note: Bring your own sleeping things (bed sheet, pillow cover, blanket) otherwise you will sleep on top of not so clean bed and pillow.

I loved it. The lake is beautiful, it is dog friendly place. My husband would have prefer to have tv in the evening.
