What a blast. I have so many nice things to say about the hospitality, the scenery, and the fish! It was all great. My whole family that stayed caught lots of fish including big walleye, catfish, Nothern pike, and small mouth bass. The water was high and cloudy and some how we still caught fish. The help was great Martin made sure our boat worked every morning as well as getting us firewood. Martin was super nice and friendly and had a great positive presence. If we had any issues TJ was ready to help us at any hour. Tj also showed us fishing spots and help us choose lures. Breakfast was good not great wish there were eggs or a meat option. Cabins were nice nothing special but comfy beds and not cramped. The Beach was clean and amazing...I’ve never had such a view. I’ve been to Canada over a handful of times. So after spending a week there this place gets a 5 star it’s awesome fishing camp or hangout camp. Deep river is a cute little town to walk around if your bored of catching fish. Thanks for reading my review I hope this helps you pick a vacation spot!

I cannot say enough nice things about KO Mountain River Lodge. I searched online many months for different cottages/cabins that had everything that my boyfriend and I were looking for, and very few had what we wanted within a reasonable price range- and I came across this place. I contacted an owner online and he was wonderful, personable, honest, and made it clear he wanted to make this the best experience possible for us - which showed even more when we arrived. The family that works there are AMAZING individuals that genuinely care about you, what your interests are, and who you are as a person. Its like automatically becoming a part of their family.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and then some, fully stocked with clean linen and kitchenware, comfortable bed, great cell reception and wifi. What made it though was the VIEW! Water, mountains, trees, hills and beach as far as the eyes can see with very few bugs! The area is well maintained and cared for, as is the variety of boating options, pool and hot tub.

I felt like I was in a piece of heaven because there were no concerns, worries and was so stress free! Loved that beakfast was included, there were communal BBQs - literally everything you could as for in this environment.

We were able to go fishing multiple days and saw breathtaking wildlife from fox, to even a moose! Most importantly, the fishing was excellent! I hated having to leave and already cannot wait to go again next year for a slice of paradise!

Just returned from KO Lodge was an amazingly successful week of fishing. If you don't believe me look at the biggest fish on the website its mine!!!!😁 Missed last year with Dads passing and I knew he would be looking down on us. The fish were jumping in the boat!!! Pike,35lb,35.5, 37, 37.5 that was in one spot and I'm not telling. Then there was the monster the next day. You know its a good week when your only complaint is that the tape measure on the boat is too small. Terry And Diane pumping some young blood into the place with TJ and Sierra looking to keep this lodge one of the real gems in sports fishing and complete relaxation. All ready counting the days till next year although it will be pretty hard to top what we did this past week. Thank you all for the hospitality.❤

Rugged fishing cabins, overlooking a sparkling sandy beach, back dropped by lush, green, rolling foothills across the river in Quebec. Clear water, white sand beach, fire pits, boat rentals, wifi, swimming pool and hot tub. Dog friendly. This was a great place to relax and camp out. We enjoyed the campfires on the beach watching the sunsets. My dog had a riot with the other dogs and it was a very welcoming place. A little postdated but it's a freaking fishing camp what do you need functioning not fancy? Not a honey moon getaway but definitely a great place to slip away from it the city and live a more simple life...fishing, bush work, boating, hiking, etc.

Breathtaking views, great swimming and welcoming environment. It’s silent during the day at the cabins. They have a swimming pool if you rather swim in that than the river. Breakfast every morning was amazing. Waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt and more including fresh coffee. These people are so friendly it was such a great experience. Pet friendly!
