(April 20, 2020, 10:06 pm)We replaced 11 windows in our existing home (standard 1980 style quality & insolation). It was a long quest to find the right company before we picked NZP.
You find good windows out there, many competent manufacturer. The real question then is: what about installation? Ask about installation, often the salesman is all about the quality of his product and has little clue about installation... For many it is a flat fee per window, as an afterthought, when, in reality, your top notch Passivhaus window will only be as good as the installation and isolation around the frame.
NZP were the only one to pass the "we know how to do it" mark, had a clear showroom explaining the material they use to install the windows & insulate around the frame, let us visit the shop to see how they work. Staff was friendly, turn around for our questions were quick, and it all was installed as planned. Minor details were ironed out in the few weeks after installation and I did not have to chase them to get them to come & finish: they followed up as promised and walked the talk.
The net gain in our home is a -3 degrees in our second floor in the Summer (south side bedrooms), and a much warmer house in the winter. Much better than we anticipated. I would do business again with them.
You can't go wrong with NZP. Quality has a price, but the price you'll forget, the quality will remain. -
