Crowne Plaza Montreal Airport

This is the second time that I attend a wedding at this hotel. The hotel is very clean and well upkept. The cocktails were held under a tent on the patio. There was a great variety of delicious appetizers. We then went inside to a room with a two sided curved staircase for the ceremony. The ceremony was postponed 30 minutes while all the candelabras were lit. The room had great acoustics. We moved again to the room setup for dinner and dancing. The wait staff were polite and helpful if slightly disorganized. Some diners got a fish entree and a fish main course. It is midnight and still no dessert. All in all the dance floor was quite busy and again great acoustics. A great place for a party.

A family favourite. We have been here in several occasions. Notably our wedding several years ago. And again for other weddings and parties. Food is always great. Service and amenities are top notch. Easily accessible. Loads of parking... And reception halls are all beautiful.

Overall: A good place to stay but it is an older hotel in need of some renovations.

Rooms are spacious for the 2 queen bed room and I really liked the 12pm check out. Beds are comfortable and the linens were clean and changed everyday including towels.

Facilities: the heated swimming pool with the large slide was a huge hit with my kids. Probably the best part of the hotel.
They have a large bar room separate from the main restaurant on site though we didn’t try it but I saw a pool table and some video lottery machines and they had a happy hour that was well priced.

Ballrooms: we stayed here for a 2 day wedding and found the ball room to be very nice for the wedding.

Staff: the staff are helpful and friendly.

Food: the buffet breakfast wasn’t as big as I’d hoped and the food was good but I would have preferred to go out to one of the restaurants in the area for breakfast next time. We also ordered room service 2 nights for the kids and the food arrived quickly and was hot but the overall quality was still just o.k.

In general we were happy to stay at the hotel for the duration of our trip and never had to complain about anything.

The place has great parking and offers a shuttle service to the airport, free newspapers, water bottles and fruit in the reception area.

I felt comfortable here with the family and the kids loved running down the large hallways and the swimming pool but the place could use some renovations.
