We booked this Bed and Breakfast in early September specifically because it was in a heritage home built in 1880. We were not disappointed.

Our stay in the Gallant house was delightful. The bed was cozy and comfortable and the rooms had everything we could possibly want. The full hot breakfast was delicious!

As a bonus, it is a short drive to Cavandish Beach one way or to Charlottetown the other.

We hghly recommend this quaint and friendly establishment.

Stayed here mid-September 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in room 6 in the MacDonald house and it was perfect. Big room with all the comforts of home: WiFi, microwave, sink, coffee maker, fridge, and place-settings for four. Dining table and sitting area as well. Big bathroom with separate shower and jetted-tub. Judy and Andrea were wonderful. Friendly, helpful, and make an awesome breakfast!
All in all... a nice, quiet, welcoming, and relaxing place. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in the area. We will definitely stay again when in town. Get the Green Gables package!!

We had a fantastic stay. The historic house is perfectly renovated, decorated and equipped. We have been able to enjoy the sauna, garden and common areas.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and a great opportunity to meet other visitors

The owner Judy is very friendly and was able to tell us about the history of the house and the surroundings. She is an inexhaustible source of cultural and culinary recommandations. We will recommend the place to family and friends.

We were lucky enough to stay at the Barachois Inn for almost a week. We could not have asked for a kinder or more friendly host than Andrea during our visit to PEI. We enjoyed both the 3rd floor of the main house which was very cozy and had all the classic B&B vibes, and the Gallant House suites which offer a luxury stay with antiques, and 18tb century stylings but modernized. Breakfast was ample, timely, and always great for a local story oi two. We highly recommend the stay!

Beautiful heritage home in the perfect location for our mother-daughter trip to Prince Edward Island. The MacDonald family was very hospitable and helpful. We felt right at home! Wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else.
