Took a scenic drive through the country lanes, close to the water, and found this multi-generational family man's haven—a brewery turned from hobby to a down-home country pub. 🍺
As we stepped in, the owner welcomed us with a taste and asked about our beer preferences—genuine down-east hospitality. The craft beers had these creative and whimsical names that added a special charm. If you're into going off the beaten path, reveling in down-east hospitality, and prefer a relaxed atmosphere where you can pick from an array of craft beers to take home, then this place is your hidden treasure.

(October 3, 2023, 4:25 pm)An adventure to find Moth Lane Brewing when you are not familiar to the area. We visited late September when everything is slowing down on the Island. The owner should be a story teller....we heard many when trying to select the beer. He provided music to the upper patio while we enjoyed his brews outside. We do hope to find his brews in Island outlets.

If you're having a pint, or grabbing a bite, they have a cool set-up upstairs, with a raised patio with a really nice view.
We'll definitely be back on further excursions to PEI.
Edit: Popped back in a year later, today, and we're still super-impressed. This is a venue we will go out of our way to visit, whenever we can. -

(August 8, 2023, 3:01 pm)Great beer, friendly people and good atmosphere. Enjoyed the nachos, mussels and pretzel from the kitchen too! Always take home a growler with every visit then when it's empty I have an excuse to go back. They're dog friendly in their outside beer garden as well.
