  this is it. Mike is the champ. Everyone else has run from the harbour but the dock shop has outlived them all. Highly recommend. Yes it's cheaper on amazon but you can touch stuff here. Support your local guy cause cheap won't have your back when the poop hits the fan.

  For the smaller size of the store (it IS downtown), they pack-in a pretty good selection and will order you in anything you need.
  Prices are mostly in-line with other stores. Some things may be a bit higher, but i didnt notice severe 'gouging' and i would rather have the local convenience than driving in traffic for hours to some other distant store. Plus you can take a dinghy to right beside the store, and also grab beer next door, lol. Lots of parking / if heading east on Queens Quay the entrance is a block early at the Shoppers, due to road signage.
  The staff were great. They leave you alone to browse or gladly help if asked.
  Some great brass mariner antiques and collectibles as well.

  I find the owner to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is reasonable and I was actually expecting higher prices given his great location. Always able to find free parking.

  Wow the store is packed with great items no-one else carries. It is in a relaxed atmosphere that you can shop for what you need. Great selection, service is great. A real fun place to shop, with very unique gift ideas, exclusive products.

  Great downtown location - and beside the beer store! Lots of car parking, and You can actually pull a dinghy right up to store too - great for Island boaters. Mike and his staff are excellent and will help you find what you need.
