  When I started working on my vocal technique with Diana, I had set out
  wanting two specific things: 1) I wanted to expand my vocal range;
  and 2) I wanted to sing with more power without my voice giving out
  after a song or two. After 20 hours, I have achieved both of those
  things. I can hit higher notes, ones that I remember having
  difficulty achieving previously. The strength of my voice has also
  significantly improved. As I’m putting Diana’s amazing technique
  into muscle memory, I’m achieving greater vocal power and the sound
  I produce is directed and clear. On top of these things, and much to
  my satisfaction, the quality of my voice has also greatly improved. I
  continue to receive compliments on my singing and my confidence level
  has greatly increased. Long story short, what Diana has delivered for
  me is beyond my expectations and I look forward to continuing to work
  with her. I’m excited to see what the next level in my vocal
  ability will look like.

  I had known about the Royans and Ms. Yampolsky for over twenty years. I had wanted to book time there but had never been able to. In this season of my life I was finally able to train with her. I was not disappointed. I have been through other vocal training, this is the first that has offered real hope to me to get much of my voice back. I have tools now that I didn't have before to help me rebuild my voice when I was told my medical professionals to just live with it. I would strongly advise anyone who uses their voice in a professional setting to book sessions and attend. You will not be disappointed.

  This weekend I went to a full day workshop led by Diana Yampolsky, with 5 participants including myself. In one word the experience was awesome!! This workshop helped me to see and experience the theory which Diana has explained so well in her book (which is a must read). What was interesting for me was to see how each one of the participants was given an individual approach and the result was a beautiful but individual sound. It was as if I could finally hear myself, my soul, the real me, which was suppressed for so long. Diana explained to us that the body, soul, and spirit are all interconnected and that all are components of the instrument that is our voice. We worked on balancing the body to help our voice be clear and strong. The warm atmosphere of the group helped us all to feel welcome and comfortable to be vulnerable with our voices and go beyond what we could ever imagine. While I came there to improve my speaking voice, by the end of the workshop Diana had me singing! This gave me confidence not only in my speaking and singing ability but to be myself.

  The Royans Institute for Non Surgical Voice Repair has repaired my voice beyond my wildest dreams. For 40 years, after surgery to remove a nodule on my vocal chords, I have struggled with a hoarse raspy voice and frequent laryngitis. After retirement from a very busy job in the public service I wanted to join a women's chorus however I knew I needed help. First, Diana worked with me to "place my voice" such that I was using my cheeks and face muscles. After dedicated learning on my part and care, expertise and effort on her part we were able to fix my speaking voice. I was thrilled -- and my friends and family were so surprised. Now we are using the similar techniques to improve my singing voice and prevent the sort of damage that I inflicted on my vocal apparatus so long ago. I do not hesitate tp recommend the Royans Institute to those in need of voice repair-- miracles can and do happen!

  Diana is a wonderful vocal coach and her approach is based on a holistic approach to speech and singing that encompasses the physical, mental and emotional aspects of the whole person to bring about a complete transformation.
  
  I went to see Diana due to chronic hoarseness and recurrent bouts of laryngitis, as well as muscle tension in my neck. My job requires me to speak and do presentations all day long and by the end of each day I would have a sore throat and be completely hoarse. In just a few short weeks Diana taught me how to stop relying on my throat muscles and how to stop straining my voice. I can now make it through an entire day without losing my voice which is an incredible relief! (I've even discovered that I have a pretty decent singing voice too!)
  
  For anyone struggling with voice problems - whether speaking or singing - I strongly encourage you to make the investment in yourself and go see Diana. There's no need to risk surgery or medication when you can instead learn a completely natural way of speaking that will preserve your voice for years to come.
