Desmond is no ordinary physiotherapist. His credentials simply blows the others away and he lives up to them all. A few years ago I was told by another physiotherapist that the impingement in my shoulder had reached "maximum recovery" and it was going to be the best we could do. I went to see Desmond about a back problem last year and just happened to mention my shoulder. My shoulder has since recovered completely.

What strikes me the most about Desmond is the level of compassion that he brings to his work. Despite his resume he will never deny that something isn't working and is always willing to reassess and try something else. Those of you who have been told by any practitioner that what you're experiencing "isn't possible" would understand. Desmond would never say that. Most physiotherapists charge extra for IMS but he doesn't, because he believes that he should always offer all of his skills to help your recovery. As patients, we have the opportunity to choose our health practitioners - if you choose Desmond, you'll probably never let him go!

I have been going to Desmond for physio treatment over the past several years and I am consistently pleased with the results I receive. Most recently I was able to compete and get seasonal bests at the World Master's Athletics championship in Spain when only a month before did not feel confident that I'd be able to participate due to the immense pain in my foot/heel. After a few of Desmond's acupuncture treatments, recommended exercises and running volume recommendations I was able to compete to the best of my ability! Thanks Desmond!

Desmond: Systematically identifies your areas of focus through talking with you, but more so through hands-on assessment & treatment. In each of a series of sessions, since there was ongoing improvement, there were new targets set, and increasingly challenging exercises to try at home. I had broken by right tibia and had a plate, screw and pins put in. I love playing my sports and questioned, will I be able to play my sports again??? Once I got my cast removed, my friend recommended me to see Desmond. On my initial visit, he promised I would be back playing all my sports, and he was right! Once I got my metals removed, I was playing all my sports after 2 months! He is very professional, knowledgeable, thorough in explaining treatment and especially like how he is hands on and don't rely on machines. Its been a year now and I'm still going strong!
