In early July 2020, I got stuck with my family doctor who is going to retire soon and as everybody knows it is also the worst time of the year with covid-19 and it is so hard to contact your family doctor or to make an appointment. All you hear from the phone is a message saying
"Please go to emergency"
I then went to quite a few walk in clinic and they all tell you to go back to your family doctor. So, I am going around in circle. All I need is just an approved chest X-ray form from a physician.
I almost gave up but my wife, Karen kept insisting to look. One day, we were strolling along the mall at Bayview Village and she saw a walk in clinic she then asked the receptionist if we can see a doctor and to my surprised Dr. Stanley Lofsky called that afternoon and I told him the situation. As to his promised, he send me an approved chest X-ray form by email. I then went the next day to have my chest X-ray done and the report came out not to my favour.
I then need to follow up a whole bunch of appointments from the hospital which I need to take time off. I have no choice but to turn to Dr. Stanley Lofsky for help and with no hesitation he wrote me a doctor's note right away.
My company then put me on short term disability and I needed a physician to do the papers work. I again have no choice to ask Dr. Stanley Lofsky to help me one more time and with no hesitation he called me on the phone and helped me filled up all the forms necessary for my short term disability and now I am resting at home.
Dear Dr. Lofsky I here solute you as a wonderful doctor who always put your patient as first priority and as the matter of fact, you are not even my family doctor and you go so far just to help me out without charging me a cent.
I would also like to sake your hand when covid-19 is done eventhough, we never met and I will always remember you and thank you for all the kind things that you have done for me and without your help my health might be worsen.
