  The Team at the Westbury is terrific. My father was a resident for a year and a half. He had dementia and required complete care. The team was supportive, kind, and loving. A terrific group of people. My father was fortunate to have such wonderful caregivers. Thank you!

  After four years I believe there isn’t a more responsive group of care workers here working within the parameters of which the Long Term Care Residences have available to them. The nursing staff, PCPs, Activity Group, Behavioural, Maintenance and Dietary all rally together for the best care to the residents. I witnessed this today when a resident began to choke on a bit of muffin and the care staff throughout the building came to help. Fortunately, the nurse on duty is capable and with the PCP’s help was able to dislodge the food. It was a tense few moments for all but it made me understand the complexities of managing a LTC as well as the lives of our loved ones which we leave in their hands.
