Fantastic food. One of my new favorite restaurants!

Thank you to Sarah & Nelson for the warm and welcoming hospitality and wonderful food.
We would highly recommend a visit there if you are in the Wasaga beach area.

5 stars and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Fantastic food and service was great. Thank you everyone at Barcelos for a memorable dinner! I would recommend any of their hot rock steaks, cooked to perfection and stayed warm the entire time.

Great steak and seafood. Upscale menu. Very pleasant and attentive staff who take pleasure in answering questions about the dishes and beverages. A cozy place for that special occasion. I would recommend reservations.

Visiting from our of town decided to try based on the reviews.
The service was ok, our waitress was nice but unfortunately very slow considering that they were not very busy.

The appetizers fried calamari and scallops were good in flavour but slightly over cooked.

For our mains we had steak and lobster.
The lobster was completed over cooked!
Had zero flavour and for $30.00 for ONE tail that is just pitiful.

Steak arrived well underdone but they serve it on a hot stone so it continues to cook as you eat it. Again flavour in the meat was not there nothing to wow you. (They serve you sour cream, a plain BBQ sauce and an in house main hot sauce which was alright. And for the lobster a oil and garlic mix which could have used a little salt. )

The Nata * which they kept pronouncing incorrectly was good same ones you can get anywhere as we have many Portuguese restaurants and bakeries near us it was nothing special, disappointing that they serve with the cheap canned cool whip.

Overall for 2 people and almost $250. We were not left impressed, Would not return.
