(August 22, 2023, 11:07 pm)Breathtaking, enchanting, loving! You immediately notice the love and dedication that cindy and her team put into this present. The rooms and main house are playful and lovingly decorated. We stayed 2 nights in a suit with excellent homemade breakfast. Cindy was responsive to our wants and needs and made it easy to start the day. Keep up the good work, we will be happy to come back.

(August 13, 2023, 12:49 pm)We are a family of four with young kids and rented red maple for a week. The cabin was not modern but it was tastefully decorated. The bathroom was too small for us and it would be good for a family of three or couples. The cabin had a good quality air conditioner. We loved the fact that there was a deck facing the lake and the beach was 10m away from the deck. The property was clean and well managed. The beach was groomed everyday; the dock was cleaned daily; and the fire pits were cleaned and prepared each night. The beach was always quiet and the water was waist deep for like 50 m out. There was also a pool on the property and it was not busy during our stay. There was also a fleet of bikes for guests to use and the bikes were well maintained. The property owners were super welcoming and capable. Our concerns were always promptly addressed. This place exceeded our expectations and I was glad that we stayed there.

(December 11, 2022, 10:50 pm)We had a very nice stay for 2 nights at the Yellow Canoe cottage. The cottage was cute and cozy. The fireplace heating didn't mean it was cold (and we stayed in December!), and it added to the homey feel. The hosts provide all the information you could need about the area and the cottage in a pamphlet and are very friendly. Golden Lake was beautiful (the lake itself and the town) and there are tons of places to explore. If you are looking for some birding, try out Shaw Woods for a good hour or two
long hike depending on what trail you take. -

(July 13, 2022, 7:12 pm)Celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary here and loved the place. Cindy and Mike are excellent hosts and our cabin (The Boathouse) was absolutely beautiful. Little touches like fresh baked strawberry muffins our 1st morning and ice cream sundaes on one of the evenings. Staff is courteous and friendly. The lake vistas are gorgeous and the beach (which is right at the cabin) was excellent. The firepits are stocked with wood every evening which makes for a perfect end to the day. Sad to leave but planning to return on a regular basis.
