(February 12, 2022, 12:19 am)Vaughn Animal Services is doing fantastic work. Adopted Fran on December 23, 2021. They were super helpful and accommodating. Also the adoption fee is very reasonable at $165 for kittens/cats and they also included a bag of cat food. We met Fran in person and she was super playful and showed no signs of mistreatment or abuse during her months spent at Vaughn Animal Services.
She is doing amazing in a loving home. What a bundle of joy.
Also please ignore the useless bad reviews. The issue is not Vaughn Animal Services. It is the Ontario legislation. Take it up against them and not the Shelter. Not to mention the people posting the reviews are not even the ones dealing with the matter first hand. It's as if you post a review for a restaurant without ever eating there. -

(November 26, 2018, 12:44 pm)Adopted a kitten from there. Price was very reasonable around 165$ with tax. Includes vaccinations, microchip, kitten was also spayed and they gave us about a week worth of food as well. For cats you can just drop by, however I'd recommend calling ahead if you are looking for a dog.

(December 17, 2016, 2:50 am)We recently adopted a cat named Layla. She had been there since she was three months old, and stayed for six months. She is amazeballs awesome, to be so well adjusted and sweet surprises and amazes me. The staff are obviously doing a great job with the animals at this shelter.
