Staff is great and friendly. Due to Covid19, the program outline has been revised.. understandably so. My husband and I felt that it was too much money for the program and therefore requested a refund, as we did not think it is copasetic to not have washrooms available for the girls, classes have been switched to online as well as the girls are not permitted to enter the building during the meetings at the location, therefore the girls have to stay outside in the cold in the evenings.. My initial request for a refund was Sept 11. Im not sure why it was difficult to understand my initial request to begin with. I've sent several emails, I've called in for a status of my refund. More emails from Guides asking if I want to switch to another unit. Ive already confirmed that I prefer a refund. Then the last email customer service sent me was that I now I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks before I get my actual refund. So, the amount of time they gave me the run around asking this question and that question, they could have processed my refund. Now almost 2 months have gone by, I now have to wait another 4 to 6 weeks. I have never engaged with an institution where I've had to wait this long for my money back, its ridiculous. At this point I'm annoyed and as a result of this, I don't think I'll be signing up next year. It would have been nice to get one email explaining the expectations and perhaps better customer service in accounting. I work at a place where I can give refunds in less than 5 minutes so I am not sure why I need to wait until Christmas.. its extremely annoying.

Girl Guides of Canada is a great organization dedicated to helping young girls grow into mature women by offering lots of guided development in leadership, building self-esteem, and fostering community involvement.

Great events are held here, its nice for units to get out of the usual unit space. Ceramics, glass blowing, milk bag mat making nights, and much more! If you want to rent the rooms for an event it is also available!
