Felco Fireplace and Mantel

Richard and his team did a beautiful job installing a fireplace in my home this past September. They were patient with my wife and I as we were deciding on a design and we were so happy with the design Richard suggested for us.

When installing the fireplace, Richard and his team were meticulous and ensured my home was not disrupted and remained clean from start to finish. They even finished the job ahead of schedule.

We are so happy with their workmanship and professionalism. The fireplace totally changed the look of my living room; it is a stunning feature!

We highly recommend Richard Baker of Felco Fireplaces. He designed and installed a corner fireplace unit in our living room, with glass shelving on the side with a recessed light, and a cabinet below it. He also set up the wiring for a TV to be mounted above it. It is gorgeous; we can't take our eyes off it. He came up with 3 designs, and we're glad we chose the one he recommended. Richard knows his stuff; he grew up with fireplaces (it's a family business), so you're getting a gas fitter, designer and builder - he actually comes on-site to do the job with his crew. He kept to the price he promised, and delivered more - although we paid for regular glass, he delivered tempered glass shelving so that they can carry more weight. Before we finalized the order, we called a reference, who was also thrilled with Richard's work. It's a family business, not a faceless factory with smooth-talking reps, and Richard makes sure the job's done right. He is 100% honest. He promised us the showroom model at a discount, and kept to his word, even though he subsequently had an offer from a builder willing to take it away while we were at his shop. And this was before we had signed the order. We're happy we did!

We have had several contractors in our homes throughout the years, but no one finer than Richard and his team. We had spoken to a few other fireplace people prior to Felco. When we conversed with Rich he was able to articulate a vision. He walked us through the various options and helped us put together my wife’s dream fireplace.

From the very first day they took precautions to protect the house and contain the dust emitted from the demolition of the existing brick wall structure. They stated that they would “treat our house like it was their own”, and they did.

The level of workmanship, fit and finish is spectacular. They delivered on all their promises. We are overly delighted with the outcome. Anyone who has seen the room has remarked on the appearance of the new fireplace.

This was a complete start from bare bones job that has transformed the family room into an inviting space and changed the feel as well as value of the home.
I would, and will recommend Felco to anyone and everyone.
