  Great friendly service with very fair prices. The whole experience was amazing and you couldn't ask for better communication. Was wonderful to have some work on your vehicle that takes great pride in their work and trade.

  I found hitchman online it’s the best reviews. He was fast and efficient replying with quote and apt. He was able to have all the material for my 2019 Hyundai and installed within the 90 minutes. Well worth the hour drive for great service.

  I decided last-minute that I wanted to get a hitch installed so I could tow a U-Haul trailer over the long weekend, and all of the U-Haul installation appointments were fully-booked. When I saw that Hitchman had so many positive reviews, I reached out to him to see if he could save the day. He not only had the hitch that I needed in stock but he was also able to install it for me the very next morning!
  
  I went to his Metcalfe location, and he offered to drive me to a nearby restaurant so I could have coffee or breakfast while I waited. I got some work done at the restaurant, and less than 2 hours later he came back to pick me up. He's a very friendly and courteous man who has ample experience installing hitches and the necessary wiring.
  
  The wiring that he installed has some kind of fuse to prevent the lights from damaging the battery, engine, or car computer if the trailer lights have a short. As a first-time hitch owner, I appreciated his advice not to leave my ball mount and ball mounted on the hitch to avoid getting it stolen. He also included a hitch cover.
  
  I highly recommend purchasing a hitch from the Hitchman and also getting it installed by him if you need that done as well. Next time I won't even bother checking whether or not U-Haul has any appointments available and will choose to support a reputable, independently-owned local business such as this one. :)

  wow! Hitchman was amazing!
  
  last week: 5 hour wait at another popular hitch place in Ottawa when the call centre at booking told us it would take 1.5 hours
  - after 5 hours they finally said that the electrical part was not possible...
  
  called the Hitchman, ordered what he needed, 2 days later and 10 minute install for the electrical and we had a perfect working, safe hitch

  I was referred by a friend, and like him, had a great experience. I needed a 2" hitch for my 2016 Honda Odyssey. Email replies were very timely, and the work was scoped and scheduled with minimal effort. The wrong hitch was initially shipped, and while I needed to make a second trip to the shop, everything was taken care of very quickly - the correct hitch arrived and was installed one business day later (today). The installation and equipment were explained well, and I am absolutely confident things were done correctly and safely. 5-star experience, 5-star rating!
