I wanted to take some family members out on the lake so they could get a feeling for how huge and how wild it actually is, as you don't get the idea by driving by on Hwy 11.
We rented a pontoon boat from Leisure Island that was ideal - slow, comfortable and very quiet.
It was the perfect swimming platform as well with a great ladder.
The day on lake Temagami was the best day of the year for me
The folks at Leisure Island were helpful and accommodating and gave great advice as to where to go swimming.
I would do this every summer. -
