Temagami Shores Inn and Resort

The rooms are nicely renovated and ours provided an excellent view of the beautiful lake. Though the restaurant was closed for dine-in, take out service was available and we thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips. There isn't a great deal to do in town but the area is an paradise for outdoor activities.

We recently had a fantastic stay in Suite 38. Great kitchen set up with all the necessities if you wanted to cook while you were there. Ate at the restaurant and it was good. They were definitly short staffed but still provided great service. The views were amazing and we loved touring around the area.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay just nestled in the woods off Highway 11. The owners are incredibly accommodating and we came back to stay another night on our way back down from our trip. Both nights we stayed in the Hillside option. We had dinner the first night at the restaurant and I can say the wings are probably the best I've ever had. Local beers on tap, very good. The second night, the restaurant and town were closed by the time we got there but they made sure we had dinner options. Rooms appear to be freshly renovated/updated and a very cozy and clean. There are several docks on the property for mooring boats and a few access points for swimming. Trails and woods for walking along the lake are beautiful. I'm hoping next time I get to stay, I can book one of the cabins and get the full experience!

Just stayed here for an entire week and we had a great time! Super friendly owners! Matt took the time to come over and chat with us and asked how we were enjoying our stay. The long drive was worth it. My 3.5 year old loved her stay! They have a couple swings..a floating pad that all the kiddios flocked to..nice beach. We stayed in cabin 3 which we were told might be renovated in the next year or two but the cabin was pretty lovely regardless...nothing fancy but everything you need. My only suggestion with this cabin is that it's on a bit of an incline where the parking spots are which might not be great for elderly people etc. Restaurant was great...best taco salad I've had to date. The motel suits look awesome too. Would recommend and hope to return in the future! For new owners they're doing a great job!!

Great place to stay on Lake Temagami and a short walk from town. Rooms are clean, beds are as comfortable as a luxury hotel in downtown Toronto and the view of the lake from the balcony is beautiful….bring a lawn chair! As a bonus, you get to watch float planes take off and land several times a day while you sit in the dock or go for a swim. Use of a boat slip is reasonably priced. Owners are friendly and helpful and the food in the on-site restaurant is excellent.
