My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Sam to sell our first home in Carleton Place. As first-time home sellers, the experience is usually extremely stressful, especially given the added worry of doing so during the COVID-19 lockdown. Sam is very thorough, informative, and made sure to enforce protocol that ensured that both our family and our prospective buyers stayed safe.
Beyond this, nothing compares to her fair and honest feedback, particularly when it comes to deciding upon a listing price and when reviewing offers. Given the National Capital Region’s hot bidding market, this is a characteristic you should not overlook in a realtor, and Sam’s experience was paramount in getting top dollar for our house in less than 12 hours!

She also assisted with my latest house search, pointing out deficiencies in several houses I hadn’t noticed until we found the right house at a comfortable price, which was very difficult in the current market. Sam is knowledgeable, not only about the housing market and sales strategy, but about house construction, and is able to recognize faults which could be very costly. She is patient, good natured and extremely helpful. She is also straightforward, and told me what I needed to do to get my house sold, when I was reluctant to make the necessary changes to show my house at its best. i would highly recommend Sam Kerr to buy and sell your house.
