(August 4, 2016, 2:44 am)I have used this location before and was previously very happy with the service. The lady who normally does reception is currently off on sick leave, and it really shows. She knew your requirements, did what was necessary to be sure that you got your supplies, and checked with insurers to see what you were able to get under their plan. She was also good about following up with clients to let them know when they qualified for refills or updates to their equipment under their medical insurance plans...thus keeping client out of pocket expenses low and increasing profitability for her company.
Today I went in as the previous lady called a few months ago to let me know that I could come pick up some supplies that were covered under my plan. There was a new lady there. She was much younger, was very professional looking, and not that it matters but was also a very attractive woman. I said what I required, she asked for my plan info...and I found it...after fumbling for quite some time with my wallet. Turns out it was on file (which I knew). She told me the price of the items I came to pick up, but since I was there, came from across the city, because I had been called by the previous lady to come pick these items up.. as they would be paid for by my plan, I asked the new lady to check. She called the 888 number on the plan card, and got a busy message so hung up and looked at me with an expectation that I would make the next move. I said why did you not wait for someone to answer, she said they were busy and not taking calls. However, after I mentioned that she found another number (for suppliers only) and called that. Apparently she was put on hold there and she chose to hang up. This ticked me off, as I came all the way across the city, from Kenilworth, on SoBi on a really hot day. I eventually paid for the items, but told her that it was more profitable for her company for clients to pick up more items, as I picked up less since I had to pay out of pocket. There is nothing wrong with the new receptionist, but do not expect superlative service, expect adequate and (more or less) professional, and you will not be disappointed like I was. Made me realize how great the previous lady was, since going the extra mile was what she gave 100% of the time. Previously I would have rated this place a 4 or 5, but a 3 is all I can give it now, as it is adequate, and not bad, but not great either.
