(September 3, 2019, 2:08 am)The view on the crest of “the rock” is a stunning panorama of woods extended to the coastal line as well as the ocean. It’s a bit tricky to find the parking shown on google maps though. The parking is located two rods away from the trail head with a map stand, meaning walking through two roads is required to get to the starting point. There are three options leading to the summit which is one of the highlights of this trip. Different scenes can be expected when the paths are preferred.
