(October 6, 2018, 3:30 pm)The drive from Halifax takes about 40 minutes and is quite scenic itself in places. The beach is nice with lots of sand and not too much dried seaweed. There is plenty of parking. Highly recommended.

(September 21, 2018, 8:45 pm)A great place to visit for the day. Enjoy the park across the street or spend the day on the beach. Lots of parking and it's free. Plenty of washrooms onsite. Water temperature is good even in September. The park across the street has great parking and picnic tables with lots of trees for shade. The sand is amazing. Please visit.
