(September 3, 2023, 8:48 pm)Really great place to learn about the earlist English settlers in Nova Scotia (the Planters). Our docent was exceptional (born and bred in the area) and filled in all the blanks regarding who and when. It's another example of local individuals stepping in to prevent the demoltion of historic buildings and to contribute to their restoration. Some of the history was ugly, but as our guide pointed out, if you don't confront the past, you can't correct the future.

(August 6, 2020, 5:49 pm)A hidden gem. Wonderful example of 18th century public architecture. Don’t miss the adjacent graveyard with its many interesting, ancient markers. Amazing it survived this long!
