(September 6, 2022, 11:25 am)My ancestor was Melanson so coming here obviously means more to me than most. This is a quick visit site, no more than twenty minutes of gentle walking and viewing information panels in a rural setting. If you are in the area, come for a walk here.

(August 19, 2019, 3:34 am)Nice to walk around, see the views and read about the Acadian Settlement that was here in the 1600 and 1700's. None of my ancestors lived here, as far as I know, but close enough to Port-Royal that my ancestors, Louis Hebert may have walked in this area. Quite peaceful, anyway.
