Granvalley Bed & Breakfast

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the Granvalley Inn just outside of Annapolis Royal, and it turned out to be an absolute gem. Initially hesitant about a small-scale inn run by two people, we were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived.

The Inn exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere, and its French provincial charm and farm-fashioned beauty added to its allure. Kathy and Karl, the owners, were the epitome of hospitality and kindness, making our stay incredibly enjoyable and memorable.

Our room was cozy yet modern, equipped with all the amenities one would expect from a larger-scale establishment. We had a restful night's sleep, preparing us for a delightful surprise the next morning - a classic breakfast featuring bacon, eggs, toast, orange juice, coffee, muffins, and coffee cake!

The dining room, beautifully decorated, offered an expansive view of the surrounding farmland. Kathy joined us shortly after breakfast and graciously shared the history of the home and the area, making us feel like cherished guests.

The overall experience at the Granvalley Inn was nothing short of incredible, completely dispelling any initial apprehension I may have had. It truly felt like a down-home, cozy, and friendly retreat, where comfort and relaxation were a priority.

The Inn's location was perfect, just minutes away from the picturesque Annapolis Royal, hiking trails, and stunning views. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the nearby attractions and returning to the comforting ambiance of the Inn.

If you're seeking a delightful escape in the valley with genuine hospitality, charming decor, and a comfortable experience, the Granvalley Inn should be your top choice. Kathy and Karl's dedication to making guests feel at home makes this bed and breakfast an exceptional destination worth cherishing.

We were cooked an amazing breakfast (whatever we wanted, when we wanted it) this place was the home away from home you can’t even dream about! Highly recommend staying with Kathy and Carl.

My wife and I stayed here with our 3 kids. Kathy & Carl were both so incredibly friendly and accommodating! The rooms were super clean and comfortable, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and extremely satisfying. They even took dietary restrictions into account.

I cannot give them a higher recommendation other then to say that if you have the option to stay here and you don't, you're missing out!

Kathy and Carl were so sweet and accommodating. The view of the rolling grass on the farm is gorgeous. We had a wonderful time and breakfast was delicious. It's also great as it's only a 10 minute drive to town.

My husband, myself and 17 yr old grandson just spent 1 night and we enjoyed every part of it. Rooms were great, our living room that we shared with another couple came equipped with movies and homemade treats with tea and coffee. Breakfast was out of this world and too long to list but felt like a 5 star hotel. It overlooks the Annapolis River and we had coffee before breakfast on the back deck. Carl and Kathy made us feel so special and it was just like home. Will definitely go back!
