The way they keep track of everything is horrible. I went in to update my prescription and order new glasses and let me tell you how they wasted 2 months of my life and pretty much screwed me over for my wedding.
I went in September 28th for my appointment and let them know I'll be having a wedding in 2.5 months and that I'll be getting contact lenses. The appointment was standard like all are. Then they informed me they will order a trial version of contact lenses.
The Lenscrafters shop next to them was great, helped me get my new glasses and love the staff there. This was 3 weeks after my appointment so I figured I would ask Dr Joel Kaplan's staff where my trial contacts are. I was told they don't keep track of orders but will give me a call when they come in.
2 more weeks later and I'm getting a little upset. I let them know I need something for my wedding which is now coming up in a month. I was given a random pack of contact lenses that didn't match my prescription fully and told to keep waiting.
The random pack they gave me made my eye swell up and get an infection. 5 years of wearing contacts this has never happened. I had to cancel a contact lense fitting at another optometrist due to the infection and waited a week for the infection to go down.
Today I got a call from the staff to come in and my trials are ready. Knowing time is almost up I went in like they said. I made the trip for nothing. The staff are refusing to give me my trials until the doctor is in and I can book a fitting appointment with them. They now inform me I most likely won't get a pack of lenses by my wedding date in 2 weeks from now.

A very good appointment with Dr Kaplan. He performed a excellent test and answered my questions and concerns about my vision.
The testing went very smoothly, with each pre-doctor stage handled well by a technician. In the doctor's office Dr. Kaplan completed the exam quickly and offered good explanations for what he found. Wait times are minimal!
Best eye doctor I have ever had. Prescreening was thorough, age appropriate consideration for glaucoma and cataracts, patient during exam. I am so impressed.
