Scandinave Spa Whistler

This place is a pretty good example of a classic Nordic style spa. The massage I received was one of the best I’ve ever had and I would literally return to this place, just to see my massage therapist Kristina again. I’m docking a star because this spa lacks a lot of basic toiletries that are common place for most other spas. There were no personal hygiene items offered above and beyond basic personal care such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I’ve been at similar spas wherein sunscreen, sandals, deodorant, hair spray/gel and styling utensils were offered as a part of the spa experience. The hot and cold pools here are amazing. The flora is truly unique to the region and early spring was an amazing time to visit as even under a fresh coating of snow, new blossoms were still poking out and it was truly beautiful landscaping.
This is a silent spa. And they mean that and enforce it. That is...no talking. No phones.
Zip. Zada. Zilch.
Silence is a motto here and I for one (seriously!) appreciated spending 4 hours without hearing the sound of another human voice. I highly recommend this spa. I hope they decide to upgrade their toiletry offerings as I would expect this from a spa removed from hotel or town amenities

Amazing. Love the solitude. Had an excellent massage. I appreciated the staff enforcing the silence policy, I did see a few patrons on their cell phones and I wished the staff had caught them as it was annoying. Premises were very clean and well maintained. Insanely relaxing. Highly recommend!

A great haven for relaxation. The change rooms are basic for the price point, and don’t offer amenities. However the hydrotherapy, with hot tubs and relaxation areas, are excellent. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here maximum. Excellent winter activity especially in the evening, as your sitting in a hot tub amidst snowfall and stars.

What an experience.
To start with, the facilities were clean and beautiful. The body wash smelled so good and the towels and robes were plush.
Robert gave me an AMAZING massage and I felt incredibly relaxed upon leaving. 10/10 would come back for a massage from him.
After our massages, we spent the next hour or so enjoying the baths. I almost regret not taking the plunge under the icy waterfall, but what can I say. I'm a wimp.
The eucalyptus steam was probably one of my favorite parts of the baths, but it is required to wear a mask when in the steam room. It was so humid that my mask was wet by the time we left which kind of put a...DAMPER!...on the rest of the afternoon.
But all in all, the entire trip was well worth the price. I will be recommending the Scandinave Spa and plan on returning as soon as possible.

Great experience! Staff was warm and inviting. The masseuse was well trained and even suggested other ideas for treatments for a banged up body. Not to mention the bath, if done properly (don't be scared its just cold water!) will leave you rejuvenated and probably ready for a nap....which you could do in the relaxation areas!
