From the outside you will be second guessing g yourself that you booked here; especially if arriving at night in the rain.
But once we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean and as I had thought it would be. The next morning when the sun came out, it is a beautiful property and the landscaping is well done.
The front desk staff were very friendly and followed COVID-19 protocols from what I saw.
So close to being perfection! First of all, the front desk staff are wonderful!!! Special shout out to Linus who was extremely sweet and accommodating! My hubby and I booked two nights as a consolation prize when our Disneyworld trip was cancelled due to hurricane Dorian. Linus was sweet enough to give us a room upgrade because of the circumstances and the room was huge and right on the ocean with two fireplaces and a getted tub! The views and the sunsets are spectacular! However... I am taking off one star because the balcony was where we spent most of our time and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months... When we first walked on to it we got a faceful of spider webs so I called and asked them to take a broom to them while we were at dinner and when we came back there were less but still quite a few. Also the glass, the railings are high enough the when sitting down you have to look through them at the view and they were covered in stains and dirt, it really killed the mood. Especially when I found out how much the regular price was for the room we stayed in... Eek, I would have been really upset. But other than that the resort is great, it does feel a bit unkempt and dated but the pool and hot tubs are great and the free kayaking and actitivites are an amazing bonus!
