Thoughtful touches in well laid out rooms.
Management rapidly responds to requests, excellent communication.
Blackout drapes in the room help to block light and noise.
Well equipped full kitchen rooms even with high quality cookware.
Rathtrevor Beach nearby is walkable and it's possible to avoid the highway when walking there.
Regular guests that are quiet and respectful.
Cons:
Traffic noise from the highway-almost everyone speeds over 60km/h limit.
Truckers using engine brakes-more signs needed to warn them of fines.
The plumbing is good but the toilets flush louder than ones on an airplane, if you are not prepared it will give you a heart attack.
Egregious use of fabric softener on sheets though if you ask they'll give you a set without it!
Transient guest demographic-sometimes quiet, sometimes noisy neighbours, seems like some lower class guests stay one night while travelling through make a lot of noise, one night a woman sobbed late into the night in the adjacent room.
Few restaurants nearby, Ricky’s restaurant for breakfast ONLY, British Bobby is world class. -

(November 12, 2020, 4:20 pm)Greatest little Motel I have ever stayed in and I've stayed in 1000s of hotel/motel rooms. Very clean and fresh. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms nicely decorated and comfortable. Pet friendly was the reason this time but would stay again without our pet hands down. Simple but basic with all you really need to rest your head for a night or two.

Everything you need for a pleasant stay in Parksville ( a little close to highway).
And bunnies!!! -
