The only reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5 is because the issue took three separate visits to resolve (when it should have taken one visit with the correct equipment), and on the second and third visits, the arrival-times were several hours later than promised. But other than that, the service by the techs was excellent.

A blocked pipe was causing sewage-water to be backed up into the basement toilet and bathtub of an old house. Disgusting and super-stressful! Called Pioneer as a first-time customer.

Parm, the technician on the first two visits, was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and hard-working (in other words, good at his trade!). I also noticed that he remained patient and polite while investigating what turned out to be a difficult-to-detect and hard-to-reach blockage. (In the past I have dealt with workers in different trades who did nothing to hide their frustration when faced with a task that turned out to be not as simple as expected; so Parm's calm demeanor in the face of adversity was a pleasant relief). Pioneer sent Parm again on the second day, but again with inadequate equipment. They should have sent him with a bigger, more powerful machine (as he and I had both requested).

On the third visit, Pioneer sent Jacob (a senior tech who was able to complete the job because he had the advantage of arriving with more powerful equipment than what the company had sent Parm out with). Jacob, too, was professional and knowledgeable.

Last but not least, the office staff were helpful and empathetic. I would definitely call Pioneer again, if needed. Strongly recommended.

If we could give Pioneer 6 starts we would. They were polite, professional, efficient and affordable. They are now our family plumber and we have recommended them to other family and peers. Jay was wonderful to work with. He was able to quickly assess the situation, explain the problems, and suggest upgrades and solutions. Shareef performed the water heater replacement and overall plumbing upgrading. He was punctual, polite, and left our home spotless. We love our new water heater and the increased water pressure in our home. Well done Pioneer! We are clients for life.

I hope this review gets a lot of attention. Hard to find good local trades help at good local rates. The team are quick to the task and gets the job done right. You get a call the day before to confirm your appointment so they are ready to get the job done when they arrive. I had my air conditioner serviced and Pioneer was on time and straight to the point of the repair. Even taught me a few things I did not know about the appliance unit. It is definitely worth the value of the work if you are in need of house plumbing or air conditioning done. I definitely recommend this to anyone in need of servicing.

I called Pioneer today and they sent Garrett over in 2 hours to fix our kitchen sink clog. Super friendly and fast service. Garrett had everything working and re-hooked up within an hour. I was very impressed and will call Pioneer again when I need plumbing. Thank You!!!

Prompt service. I called about a leaky hose bib and they dispatched a tech the next day. The fix was quick and easy. These days, I really appreciate a company where a human picks up the phone because it's still the most underrated, to-the-point, and quick way to communicate-- I will definitely be calling Pioneer again for our home plumbing needs.
