(March 1, 2021, 8:15 pm)Steve, the general manager went above and beyond to ensure that I received a just settlement for a painting that was damaged during transport. The painting was expertly packaged at the store, however, the package had clearly been smashed en-route. Initially UPS Corporate denied my insurance claim due to a minute technicality that no lay person would understand. However, Steve went to bat for me, elevated the situation up the chain of command and ensured that my claim was honoured. Even though no one at the UPS store specifically was at fault (it was damaged after it had left the store), Steve made it a mission to ensure a just settlement was reached. He could have done nothing but instead decided to do the right thing.
