(May 27, 2021, 5:16 am)Due to my current health issues and dealing with Arthritis, I was gifted by a former boss, a copy of Anti- inflammatory Foods and Recipes by Beverly Lynn Bennett. This book has page after page, helpful recipes that are bursting in flavour, colour and presentation!
Yesterday, I discovered my copy and other recipe books were destroyed due to water damage! I called around, both James and Samona were more than helpful in ordering me another copy. Their friendly and professional customer service I appreciated! Upon picking up my order, all staff were helpful. I ended up purchasing The GI Diet to replace my other damaged copy. Fabulous selection, well organized and neat. I look forward to returning. -

(May 27, 2021, 4:14 am)Absolutely sickeningly delightful. Great selection, and super knowledgeable staff. It's now a must visit for me every week, because I can glide in, grab a cheap book or three, and be set for the weekend.
They can order any books that they don't have, and staff can always recommend you something good. -

(April 3, 2021, 7:55 pm)This is my favorite used book store in the lower mainland. Great selection of paperbacks, hardcovers, new releases, and incredibly rare & hard to find collectors items. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about all things literature, and given that everyone that works there is friendly as can be, it's always a real treat visiting the store. I'd recommend everyone visit Companion Books, whether you're an avid reader or looking for something to hold you over through quarantine, this is the best book store you'll find around.

(February 25, 2021, 6:15 am)I went for the first time today and it was wonderful!! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, and it’s obvious that they’re passionate about books. They have some beautiful rare books as well as a large selection of affordable new and used books (the ones I picked up were all second-hand and 5-10 dollars each). The staff were excellent at helping me find things, but I would’ve also happily spent a couple of hours browsing! I’ll be back :)
