  We went for the Christmas at Kilby dinner with our elderly parents. The historic site was closed for the season but while we waited we were allowed to walk through. The farm animals were out and the museum general store was open. It was very interesting if you enjoy social/domestic daily history. The dinmer itself was delicious. A traditional turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, 4 vegetables and bread rolls. Endless coffee and tea. Huge portions and exactly how one would expect a Turkey Christmas dinner to taste. Choice of pumpkin or apple pie. The pumpkin was delicious. We bought an apple pie to go. All in all with the great friendly service (somehow they even found hot sauce for me and my parents) it was well worth the price. Kilby Heritage Site is a very neat place to visit.

  Took kids camping for the eagle festival and enjoyed everything about this place. If you haven't been here yet make sure to fit this into your next adventure.

  While walking along the river side and to the museum, imagine yourself going back six, seven decades ago. Enjoy the serenity of the countryside, looked far up to the top of the tree line to see if you can see any bald eagles. Though I did not see one, a trip out there to be part of the nature was amazing.

  Neat place. A reminder of early settlers of the Fraser Valley. Kids can feed the farm animals, and there is a grassy play area for them. Had a cafe and a store. We were there for the Eagle Festival.

  We had our family Thanksgiving dinner here and I just can't say enough about how lovely it was. The meal tasted like it came right out of your own kitchen. The serving staff made you feel like you were in your own kitchen or at least your Mom's kitchen. You couldn't make the meal for what they're charging. We toured the museum and the General Store which was fascinating and very well done. The guides in the museum were so friendly and a wealth of information and we had a great time. We will be back!
