(February 28, 2019, 6:07 am)We went mid week to see the tulips and take photos of our daughter. Very pretty. Much quieter than the other tulip festival. One thing is there are lots of buses with out of towners. Prepare yourself, they like to get in front of you and try to take photos of your baby in the flowers.

(February 19, 2019, 3:55 pm)This is great spot to spend an hour or so in the area. Not as large as places in Europe (Antwerp, etc), but still quite impressive with a decent variety. If they could put platforms a few feet above the ground, pictures would be fantastic. You can also pick tulips from the designated area for $1/stem or $25 for a bucket (as many as you can fit). The high bloom season is short, so watch for it - this year it came late (May).

(February 8, 2019, 10:00 pm)This was alot of fun. We went for the sunflower festival. Food trucks were great. Kids loved it. Hop fields were beautiful and smelled so good. Was a great way to spend a day and enjoy what our beautiful city has to offer.

(September 8, 2018, 6:01 pm)I went during the summer flower festival. It was very beautiful, it is advertised as having 12 kinds of sunflowers but we only found a few. In the pick your own sunflower section the flowers were pristine. However, in the rest of the field many flowers were unkempt. Still very pretty family friendly fun!

(August 22, 2018, 7:36 pm)Lots of sunflowers! They come in two heights: tall, and taller; and if you go walk in the hybrids garden there are other beautiful colors. Some raised platforms and tractors (new and old) to take photos by, as well as some outdoor garden games near the entrance. Good place for photos and a leisurely stroll. They also sell pre-cut sunflowers.
