(February 25, 2021, 5:31 am)I contacted Brenda Isaak Takao, Personal Coach and Blue Seed Studio artist because I was stuck - I hadn't painted in over a year and was looking to unblock, plan for the future, and find the joy that was missing from most of my days. Brenda coached me in art and in life for eight weeks - her Activation Method of coaching uses self-discovery exercises, gentle questions and inquiry into my past achievements and experiences. She helped me to realize the personal resources I already had, and identified areas where I could increase my knowledge and abilities for future success. And the weekly homework challenges helped me to get my website up and running, and my artist's statement written!
I am now creating and making art every day - my inner voice is less critical, more encouraging and gentle than two months ago. And my guiding words are once again "play" and "joy"! I highly recommend Brenda as a personal coach - she's intuitive, has great coaching resources, and is so very kind.
