(August 11, 2019, 8:49 pm)This is the trailhead that takes you down to Mystic Beach. The trail itself is gorgeous, and the beach is pretty although also fairly standard Pacific Northwest. The famous mystic beach waterfall is just a creek by mid-summer - you could walk under it and still be mostly-dry. Couple this with the nearby Sheringham Lighthouse (via the city of Shirley) for a relaxed day of activities.

(April 30, 2019, 11:27 pm)The walk down to Mystic, and Mystic Beach, are both beautiful - Mystic, Sombrio, and Botanical are fantastic day trip beaches from Victoria.

(August 30, 2018, 12:50 am)There is a short 15 min hike down to the beach to spectacular views of the pacific ocean with decently large waves and a long sandy beach. The hike back is uphill though so might be difficult for children or elderly people, unlike the description on the website. But definitely worth a visit!!
