French Beach Provincial Park

Nice big parking lot with a bit of a hill to the beach. Down at the beach there are areas either side to get away from the main access point and the crowd. The beach is mostly pebbles rather than sand.

Beautiful campground! One of my favourite places to go camping. Camp sites are close to the beach, you can even hear the waves crashing from the sites at night. Other campers are also very respectful, no loud partying. The Beach is beautiful and lots of trail to hike.

Campground was beautiful and well taken care of! The lady who checked us in gave us ideas on what to check out in the surrounding area, which turned out to be pretty neat. Most People where quiet too, no big partying. I wish the campsites had a bit more privacy and a bit more sun, but the easy walk to the pebble beach made up for it! Also the tide pools where pretty neat to explore and climbing the rocks on the other side of the beach was also cool! It was a great place to stay for 4 days. Would totally recommend, and we can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely breathtaking. Park is so well taken care of. Clean, no garbage, no graffiti. A true slice of Canada that we can all be proud of. Good job BC!

What's up with the "no vaping" rule? That's just stupid. It's not like you can start a fire with one and it bothers nobody.

One star off for stupid rules. Other than that, it was astounding.

Oh! And the water is a wee bit chilly! (Understatement)

Great place with tons of beach and interesting landscape around. Worth visiting just to see the amazing sunsets here and the very cool rock formations om the far side. Must adventure around to see all. We spent 1 night and loved it. Go check it out!
