I’ve learnt through many home renovation projects; the success of a project largely depends on the contractor leading the charge. Recently we had a new garage built by Leader Service & Renovations Ltd. led by Chris Beecroft and his team. We hired and tasked his team with building our garage and are absolutely pleased with the process and the outcome. Right from the very first meeting, Chris established a strong foundation of trust and communication with us. During his initial visit, he discussed our garage concept as well as the scope of work, and took detailed notes, measurements, and photographs.

Shortly after, he delivered a written scope of work which includes the initial budget values, a proposed timeline, as well as preliminary draft designs and recommendations.

Especially impressed with once he confirmed all design elements, his team started a process to uncover any potential challenges that could cause potential problems completing everything as planned. They then presented an accurate detailed quote that included defined start and finish dates, and what to expect, which made it easy for us to move forward with confidence.

This proactivity and transparency alleviated a lot of potential stress about the build and gave us a realistic idea of what to expect and how much it was going to cost.

Chris and his team made it easy to follow along throughout the entire build process, giving us updates to the progress, schedule, and budget without having to ask.

As the build progressed, they spotted every issue and imperfection, and had it dealt with before it could even be mentioned. They held all sub-trades to the highest standards. Overall, their work showed excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. One of those rare experiences where a contractor genuinely cared about the end result, and it shows.
