  Visited here in early spring, do the was a good amount of water, cunning down the creek, making for some great waterfall action. Downside was that there was still quite a bit of snow, and because the trail draws so many visitors the trail was slick, and in some places muddy and wet, and my girls (3-6 yrs) needed quite a bit of help through some of the uphill parts. Not difficult for adults, though. Very cool tufa rock formations, and we even saw a moose on the trail. Pit toilets at the trailhead. Really well marked on the roads so it was easy to find without asking Google for directions.

  Beautiful park, stream, trails, and small waterfalls. Near rock formations and great views. Trails are really muddy in the spring, but I plan to bring the family out again later in the year.

  The walk was wonderful and the trail mostly clear. Rain boots suggested atm.
  Ground had some ice.
  Pet walkers....bring a bag

  Big hill springs park is great for an easy hike. I think it's best for a family with kids. Kids would love this place. Small water stream running along the side of the hiking trail.
  
  Beautiful, quiet place not that busy place in weekdays. Enjoyed our time here.

  Nice spot for a short walk or explore around for longer.
  Only has outhouses. Very slippery in the winter with hard packed snow/ice and it's quite slopped.
  Nice stream and small falls along it. A few picnic tables at the beginning.
