Soft dirt road leads you to the park gates, be careful during bad weather road isn't awesome. Beautiful Vista's and views will lead you on partially paved walks that go on for a good soul cleansing hike. All season outhouses just in case.

Great walk but it would be nice to let my dog go off leash.

Gorgeous views, many paths to choose from and most are paved. You can go off the trail a bit to the river for a nice picnic!

Access by range road 35/Glenbow Road and then 3-4 min drive down gravel road. There are outhouses and a small interpretive centre/park office. Free parking and access. The gravel and paved paths head down into the valley and then out in both directions towards Cochrane and Calgary. Very pretty setting but exposed as there are few trees for shade or breaking up the wind. Still a relatively unknown park (as of 2017) so there isn't a lot of congestion on the paths. Several interpretive signs along the path and the park staff offer education tours as well.

Awesome, rode my bike to far west end and then to the far east, went on a Friday the temperature was 28c. beautiful views of the river valley and mountains. You can sense the history there. Loved it. The climb up the hill going back is hard but worth it. Enjoy.
