I was terrified I was never going to walk properly again after a LisFranc fracture. Two surgeries by Dr Unger and not only am I walking, but I am pain free!!! Sure I swell up sometimes (planes/over use). But from what I understand from another podiatrist it is a miracle I don’t have daily pain!!
Yes his bedside manner is the worst I have ever seen... but his surgical skill is a gift!!!
I wanted to be referred to someone else when I read the reviews... so glad I didn’t!!!! He is a phenomenal surgeon. Ask him questions, he’s gruff (overworked perhaps?) but he’ll give you great advice!!
Dr Unger is professional, efficient and very knowledgable. He has looked after my Mom's foot issues for years. We are vertical pleased with his service. Would recommend him to anyone.
