  Splash Park is a great size. But many people come and stay for the day so getting there early is paramount. No shade so bring your own umbrella to beat the heat. Also there is a playground behind that has to levels for different ages. Gravelled playground

  This is a great park because it offers a wide variety of things to do. It has an off leash dog park, a separate kids playground, a great, but small, water park for kids. There are public washrooms and a water fountain.
  It is very close to downtown and other wonderful walking paths.

  Great place for younger children, however the attendant left quite often and when the water shuts off it is very confusing to figure out how to turn it back on. Has to do with some sensors or something. Also very little shade or benches to sit on, grass is fine but if there was.someone with mobility issues it would be difficult to sit anywhere.

  Total hidden gem for those that do not work downtown or know about the park. Can be load and busy at times, but it’s total worth it. The view you can get close to the benches are amazing. You can see all of downtown and the river.
