  Big fan of distilleries, but a few things that annoyed me about my experience here. I watched my 2oz old fashion be short poured. Also, they downgraded their bourbon to wild Turkey...incorrect on menu, very low quality! They also say they smoke the glass...they do not. Would of preferred a clear round ice cube...all distilleries are doing this. Food was fine and came quick. Bartender didn't know much about the menu, owner was in the room and was very nice and friendly.

  Food is top notch and drinks are top notch. They also offer tours of their distillery. The atmosphere is casual yet sophisticated, trendy but not hippy. I highly recommend!

  Had a great time touring the distillery and sampling their wares. The medica is dangerously smooth and their gin is superb. The vodka is quite nice too. I was especially surprised by the kitchen they have. Really good duck wings and much more on the menu that I would have liked to try. You don't often get that elevated food experience in a brewery/distillery so it was a definite bonus.

  Incredible food and drink, authentic! The best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had, hands down. Will come back for sure and also try brunch!

  Today I was greeted by the bartender named London at Burwood Distillery whom told us about all of their fantastic drink and food pairings. We started with the tasting of the different spirits ( the gin is phenomenal) followed by the duck wings and deep fried cauliflower. I cannot say enough good things about how good they were. What really stole the show for me were the amazing drink concoctions created by London, the cinnamon mojito was bar none, along with the old fashioned. Please, if you have not already been, do go and enjoy something so unique to Calgary. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
